My continuing art journey…

It’s been such a busy couple of months! I work hard through the winter months to build up my portfolio that I use during the exhibition period.

This years exhibition period started when I sold ‘Birds on the Beach’ at the Franklin Arts festival held in Pukekohe.

I had a work in the Salon de Refusse in the Rotorua exhibition which I also sold.

A flight to Wellington saw us arrive at the Watercolour New Zealand ‘SPLASH’ exhibition. Thrilled to see my painting with a red dot. The Wellington exhibition is a highlight of my art year. Over 300 paintings all of which are watercolour, together in one space, so inspirational.

Also had a Popup at Waihi Beach and was in the Waikino exhibition on Labour Weekend.

For all those who have connected with my art, through a Popup, exhibition or in my studio, thank you!

Art Classes

I have had some inquires recently from people who have attended my Beginner Watercolour class wanting to progress their skills and learn more at an intermediate level.  I’m looking at a 4 week course on either Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning for 2 hours, starting 25th or 26th November.  Cost – $80 (provide own materials). Contact me if you would like some more information.

Loving posting my paintings as I do them! Follow me on Instagram waihibeachart
