Action November

Although Covid 19 put a stop to many exhibitions this year, it has been very busy for the art scene this time of the year.

This little watercolour on Yupo paper was sold at our pop up exhibition held at the United Church hall on the Saturday of Labour weekend. Lots of people visited our space and we had some very nice feedback on our work.
My watercolour Arctic Light got a Merit Award at the Watercolour New Zealand exhibition SPLASH on from 24th October til 8th November. I’m also very happy about the red dot on it too. This is a major exhibition of the year for me and to receive an award is very humbling.

The next major exhibition event for me begins on 19th November with the Tauranga Garden and Arts festival. Four days in Sue’s beautiful garden at Highfield Dr, Katikati.

A beautiful stream meanders through Sue’s garden.

Part of the festival involves an exhibition of art at the Tauranga Racecourse. These are some recent works that will be on show at this venue.

Still enjoying my abstract work with wet on wet.

The final event for 2020 will be an exhibition at the Imprint Gallery, Historic Village, Tauranga. Titled Less is More and will showcase small works by myself and Sally Thrush. Opening night for guests Friday 4th December and the exhibition will run until 5th January 2021. As a subscriber to my blog I would like to invite you to the opening. Please contact me if you would like to attend.

Thank you for following my blog and would love to have some feedback regarding my work or observations.
