Dublin

Another few hours sitting in an airport. Decided to practice my blind contour drawing (not looking at my page. Just the subject).

Capturing the essence of the subject.
Not all of them work!
I like blind contour most because “mistakes “ are totally part of the process and never a mistake.

Dublin is such a vibrant city. Looking forward to seeing more.

Lots of bars and beer gardens with ‘wall to wall’ young people. Only put one of them in my painting.
Standing on the O’Connell St bridge looking across the Liffey River.

So tired!! Ka kite ano. Pamela

  2. Hi Pam! You have been a prolific sketcher in spite of being so tired on such a big flight! Amazing blind drawings and I love the one of the Temple Bar in Dublin! I think I have been there! You will be in your element and I wish you all the best!
