Giffnock

A suburb of Glasgow, Giffnock has great accommodation at the Orchard Park hotel.

Inside was this gorgeous oak staircase. Very glamorous.

Today we headed to Inverness. We stopped at Perth on the way and spent time sitting in the park, with an ice cream ( mine was vegan) from this funny little kiosk and watching highland pipe bands do their thing.

Later in the day we got to Inverness and our B&B. The address was 49 Fairfield Rd. We had to stay there because when I was a kid our address was 67 Fairfield Rd in Hawera. There is absolutely no resemblance to our house in Hawera though. We went for a walk and I managed to take a photo for this little painting.

      I arrived home this am after sunny hot time in Mexico and LA . It is nice to be back and Sophie v happy to see me. Xx
