Farewell Skye we had a great time.
Took the ferry across back to Scotland.

Many miles later we arrived at our accommodation for the night at Pitlochry. “Why there?” I hear you ask!! Well, cousin Margaret’s husband, Simon’s father had two seasons acting at the Pitlochry Theatre back in the day.

We saw the play that was running tonight. Can’t remember the name and I need a couple of days to process what was happening. It was such fun seeing a live show though.

I sat by our window and did a little watercolour sketch for you. This is the view down onto the town from our room, up on the hill.

Talk tomorrow. Pamela
Great! John took a day trip to Pitlochry from Glasgow with Jim & Jeanette in 2010.
Edinburgh here we come. xx

Raewyn and I used to go to Pitlochrey every couple of days for supplies when we were working as cooks at Kinrochet Lodge in August 1975. We visited Blair Athol Castle one day, and a diary note says it was more impressive on the outside than within. Wonder if it’s still the same.
