Another day on the road this time to Edinburgh .

We were fortunate to get tickets for Edinburgh Castle, so later in the afternoon we climbed the hill to the magnificent structure. Even though it was a bit of a rush I’m pleased we made the effort and saw it.

My best bit was Saint Margaret’s Chapel. A tiny little stone structure that it is thought used to be part of the big tower and was built in 1130.

Of course the Great Hall and the Scottish Crown Jewels were magnificent but the chapel left an impression.

We came out of the castle gates and back down the Royal Mile.

Thanks for reading my blog. Keep reading cos tomorrow we leave the UK.
Ka kite ano.
