Plane trip to Amsterdam

Said goodbye to cousin Margaret and Simon and headed for Amsterdam. The idea was to connect with our plane to Rome where we were staying the night. Unfortunately the plane was delayed and we missed the plane so had to stay in Amsterdam. Then we got to Rome this morning and missed the train to Montefalco, booked another, then sat on the wrong platform and missed another train.

Watching trains go by.
Buildings at the train station.
Amsterdam airport models.
Blind contour drawings of people waiting.
Lots of time to do drawings.

Finally arrived in Montefalco. Now we have heard about the earthquake in Morocco. We were told by our son worried about us being there on Wednesday. What will we do???

  2. Oh dear we did the same when catching a train in Paris !!! Wrong platform.What a hassle it turned out to be !!!

  3. Oh no! Travel hassles happen ! But the waiting traveller contours are great. Hope rest of trip goes well. Sounds like a wonderful itinerary . I have been off line a bit.. am in Sydney and next to Canberra. Enjoying some wonderful art galleries

    1. Oh the trials of travel. That train station in Rome is pretty vast, I can’t blame you being in the wrong place. It’s a shame about Morocco. I didn’t think you were going near Marrakesh? The pictures look bad. You’ll need to go on advice from travel people. I hope you do get there, it’s amazing. Thank you for your fantastic posts. We enjoy them very much.
