After our morning coffee and cornet we drove to Carapace a beautiful architectural building which houses the cellars of Tenuta Castlebuono (Ferrari family).

The grounds of the winery had stunning sculptures. This one by local artist, Alison Ryde.

On to the beautiful village of Bevanga. Had intended to visit the exhibition of Paolo Massei in Bevanga but it was still siesta and it was closed.

We found a quiet cool spot to sit and sketched another bronze sculpture ‘Res Sacre‘ by Andrea Roggi. 2022

Back sitting in the piazza sketching one of the beautiful buildings.
Drinks and pizza with Wendy’s friends David and Alison Ryde. (Alison, the artist who did the large sculpture.)
Lots of eating and looking at art today. Perfect.
Ciao. Pamela
Some wonderful shapes here.

Living the dream Pam. Like the little leaning sculpture beside the big one. Did you pick him up on your travels?
