Early start, a long wait in a que. A ride with a horse and gig and another temple.
The temple of Horus had another story. His father was Osiris, remember him? Got chopped up by his brother Stet. So when Horus grows up he takes revenge for his father’s death and kills Stet.
On the boat and off to Ensa which has a lock on the Nile. I’m thankful I didn’t need to open those gates. Had time to sketch and paint as we cruised towards Luxor.
Went to a light and sound show at a Luxor Temple tonight.

Well my only experience of Luxor is the Luxor Hotel in Vegas, built like a pyramid. What a fascinating trip you are having. Thanks for sll your efforts to educate the illiterate as far as Egyptian history goes 👍
