Lots happening this month and into November. Hard to imagine we were somewhere else for August and September. But here we are back home. To kick start the season I am having an open studio for the 3 days of labour weekend between 10-2pm. If you are at the beach pop in and see me.
Some of you may have seen my painting that is off to Venice to the Venice Watercolour Festival at the Trecento Palace in Treviso. The exhibition is from the 7th-9th November. Pop in to see it if you are in the area!!
On 1st November I have been invited to be one of the speakers for Artsmad, a Rotorua initiative for artists. I will have the opportunity to talk about my artist residency in Scotland. Wednesday 1st at 5.30 to start at 6pm at the Howard Morrison Theatre in Rotorua. Come and see me if you are in Rotorua. (no hecklers!!)
On the 30th October my friend Nina Milburn and I will be exhibiting at the Imprint Gallery at the Historic Village in Tauranga. Nina is a weaver from Wanganui and we will complement each other’s work in weaving.
