April News

Welcome avid readers of my blog. Autumn is closing in, days are getting shorter here in Aotearoa New Zealand and my mind is turning to projects for the winter months ahead. Where is my art moving to in the future? Still a mystery to me.

I’ve previously told you about Recliner City at the Mount whose retail space includes art by local artists on their walls. As one of the fortunate artists to show my work I went last week and swopped my art with new work. If you are at Mount Maunganui pop in to their showroom and check it out.

They were changing the colour of the furniture to match the new paintings. Green did not go anymore.

After being away in our van for 2 months it was so good to get back into my studio. These paintings were inspired by the Kaikoura coastline. Oops. The photo isn’t level on this one. It really isn’t running down hill!

As always, get in touch if you are interested in finding out more about either of these.

So only home a few days and then it was Easter. I was so looking forward to having my Easter swim but it wasn’t to be.

COVID struck again. So I’m sitting writing this, waiting for my health to improve and a negative test result.

This is what a COVID selfie looks like 😢

Felt is an online shop for creatives to display their goods. My shop is pamsart.felt.co.nz and has some great paintings on at the moment. Unframed works which are easy to post and give you the opportunity to frame to complement your decor. My special for April is on the greeting cards. These original pieces of artwork can be framed or given away as gifts. Usual price is $10 each, this month 4 for $30. Just use the shopping basket, pay for 3 and I will send 4.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. Until next time, keep healthy!
