Happy New Year to all my wonderful followers. Thank you for hanging in there and following on my art journey.

This time last year I had no idea of the challenges and opportunities that were to come my way during the year. I guess I’m feeling the same this year. I know that whatever comes my way I will embrace the opportunities with my usual vigour. So bring on 2025.

The year has started well with a sale to my cousin from my studio. My whanau are my biggest fans…. and I have a very large extended whanau. Love them all.🙏

Woven strands of watercolour are reworked into the original painting. It’s about our individual uniqueness being part of a wider community or whanau.

My workshop for the Tauranga Society of Artists was great fun in December and some crazy photos emerged from the day.

So the holidays came, we had Christmas and New Year and not a lot of paintings done. The studio was used for other purposes over this time. With her permission I’ll include this photo of my multipurpose studio space.
