Or as the locals call it Jax Beach.
Today I had my first swim in the Atlantic Ocean. It was similar to Waihi Beach in that it was wet! But also a similar temperature and I got knocked over with the waves. Here, just like home.
So we have had lots of downtime walking and sightseeing around the beach.
Just like lots of beach communities this one has many little wooden houses of all colours (usually pastel) dating back to the time of its establishment, in 1925.
Not much else happening cos I’m in holiday mode.
