Before going to Boston all I knew about it was the famous Boston tea party. So the museum was a must see. December 16th 1773 the American colonists threw the many kilos of tea into the Boston harbour as the English had put taxes on it that were exorbitant. One Samuel Adam’s stirred things up and told Bostonians that there can’t be taxation without representation. ( history repeats itself).

The other thing I knew about Boston was that they had an amazing library. So we walked to the library.

Then we entered the building!

Across the street was the Trinity church. Cute and small against the towering skyscrapers around it.

The next day we visited the Boston Naval yard and checked out the USS Constitution.

We walked up Bunker Hill to view the monument.

That was Boston for us in a nutshell. Hang in there and find out where we will be next.
