Half way through the month and no blog. I thought the 12 year old blog police would have reminded me by now.

I have been painting but mainly framing and packing works for exhibitions. The season has started for me and goes through to December.

These 2 didn’t make the cut for framing and exhibiting but I rather like them.

I have 3 pieces in the Frankly Small exhibition in Pukekohe, south Auckland. A fabulous exhibition that I always exhibit at and often someone likes my work and buys it. On until next Saturday 23rd.
My exhibition space at the Ngatea gallery is going well and will be able to be viewed up until the end of the month.

We have just had our last session at the Classic Planes museum. Whew! Painting planes is hard!!

We sketched Rona’s wee hoose at Waihi.
I am currently preparing work for the Tauranga Society of Artists Expo which will be held in the Boys High Auditorium from 25th till the 28th September. If you are in or around Tauranga at this time it is an amazing exhibition of work from artists throughout the Bay of Plenty.

Watercolour New Zealand is exhibiting in Stratford at the Percy Thompson Gallery from 10th October until the 16th November. Just giving a heads up to my friends and whanau in Taranaki to write it in your diaries. Not often you get an exhibition of all watercolour by prominent national artists.(and me).

My studio will be open during this time, along with many other artists in the Bay of Plenty. I’m planning on having art suitable for all wallets! I’ll do a demonstration each day at 1pm and hoping that people will contribute to making trading cards. There is no cost to join the open Studio trail.
As always, love your feedback.
Ka kite ano.

I really like the two ‘River’ paintings. Always liked your sketches of older houses.
